This design is a tribute to the tuxedoed birds every Minnesotan has seen swimming proudly and conspicuously around their favorite lake, like a mafia don surveying his turf. The loon’s rich, throaty yodel across a glassy, quiet lake as the sun sets is a staple of any trip into the North Woods.

The Smoking Loon is an attempt to capture the loon’s distinct personality. Birds can’t smoke pipes, but if they could we’re almost certain the loon would.
